He saw health not as something defined statistically or mechanistically. Rather, he saw health as the ability to adapt to one’s environment. Health is not a fixed entity. It varies for every individual, depending on their circumstances.

We opened Third Space Wellness as a place where the community could come together and support one another in living a lifestyle that promotes wellbeing for each unique individual.
Whether you know us for acupuncture or massage, take our yoga classes or have come to a wellness education session you’ve hopefully noticed that our commitment is to helping you clarify your own definition of what healthy looks like for you.
We believe that you are your own best expert and the wonderful physicians and healers available to you are your partners in your healing journey. You get to define your wellbeing and your level of health by understanding your individual circumstances and how they play a role in how your are physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. And also by how you choose to respond to these circumstances whether that’s your mentality, who you socialize or work with, what you eat, when you sleep and so forth.
Our posts, podcasts, classes and services are all designed to help you in getting to know yourself at this level and to help you identify those things that make a difference for you specifically in living into your own unique version of “healthy.”
As we begin to close out 2015, we hope that you will take some time to reflect on your level of health and wellness, to thank yourself for being an awesome human being, and to welcome the new year by celebrating your uniqueness.
