It’s OK to rest.

For me 2015 and 2016 have been full-on lessons in remembering my mortality. It’s easy sometimes to forget how precious health is and to take it for granted or alternately it’s easy to operate in a state of stress (aka in our sympathetic nervous system which equals fight or flight) and not really be present to how healthy we feel or not, but to keep going anyway. These few years have been a keen reminder that I get one body in this lifetime. And I get a choice about how I want to use it or maybe I should say, how I want to love it.

The other day a friend, colleague and healer in my world reminded me of this, “Choosing not to rest is borrowing against your future health.”

So I will leave you to think about that.

Can you make time to rest now, so you can keep living big later?

I can, and I am.
